The 32nd National No-Tillage Conference is set to convene from January 9th to 12th at the Marriott in downtown Indianapolis, heralding a significant upcoming event in the agricultural sector. The conference will kick off with a noteworthy pre-conference workshop at a farm shop in Brownsburg, situated 30 minutes northwest of Indianapolis. This collaborative session will feature Hendricks County farmer Mike Starkey and Bob Barr, a research scientist from Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), who will present the findings from their recent water quality monitoring project. They will discuss its implications for Starkey’s agricultural operations and the local community at large. Additionally, Starkey will share insights into the conservation techniques employed on his farm, spotlighting sustainable farming practices.

A sit-down dinner on January 9th will follow the workshop, available exclusively to attendees who have pre-registered. This dinner aims to foster a sense of community and engagement among participants, setting the stage for the comprehensive conference experience to follow.
