Brownsburg to Host Earth-Arbor Day Celebration and Comedy Night on April 26​

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Brownsburg, Indiana, will host two community events: the “Clean and Green: Earth-Arbor Day Celebration” in the morning and “A Night of Comedy in Brownsburg!” in the evening.​

Clean and Green: Earth-Arbor Day Celebration

The “Clean and Green: Earth-Arbor Day Celebration” will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bundy Lodge, located at 7024 Lucas Drive in Brownsburg. This event is organized in partnership with the Hendricks County Partnership for Water Quality and Weed Wrangle Indiana.

Attendees can participate in two volunteer activities: ​

• Litter Pick-Up: Volunteers will help clean designated areas in local parks and around town.​

• Garlic Mustard Pull: Participants will remove the invasive garlic mustard plant to protect native habitats.​

In addition to volunteer opportunities, the event will feature Arbor Day celebrations, including tree planting demonstrations and free tree giveaways. Family-friendly activities will also be available. While Arbor Day activities are free and open to the public, volunteer opportunities require registration.

A Night of Comedy in Brownsburg!

Later that evening, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the American Legion Post 331 at 636 E. Main Street will host “A Night of Comedy in Brownsburg!” Presented by Laughing Dad Entertainment, this comedy show will feature headliner Keith McGill. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show starting at 8:00 PM. The event is a fundraiser for the Brownsburg Older Adult Alliance, with proceeds supporting their senior programming. Attendees must be 18 or older, as the content is rated PG-13. The evening will also include a silent auction and refreshments available for purchase. ​

These events offer Brownsburg residents opportunities to engage with their community, support environmental initiatives, and enjoy local entertainment.
