The Brownsburg community is gearing up for its yearly Project Angel Tree Drive, which aims to spread holiday cheer to children in need across Hendricks County. The event, running from November 6 to December 2, features an Angel Tree at the Brownsburg Town Hall (61 N. Green St.), available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Each angel ornament on the tree represents a local child. Residents can choose an ornament, purchase the specified gift or clothing item, and return the unwrapped item to the drop-off location at the Town Hall by December 2. For those who prefer not to visit in person, Project ANGEL’s website provides sponsorship opportunities and information on how to contribute.
Project ANGEL, a local nonprofit, has been supporting families in the area for nearly four decades, providing social services and holiday assistance. The program relies heavily on community involvement and partnerships with businesses and organizations to fulfill its mission of helping the “working poor” and low-income families. In 2023, Project ANGEL assisted 166 households during the holiday season, showcasing the impact of the community’s ongoing support.
