The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that roadwork on State Road 267 in Brownsburg will start on September 30, 2024, impacting local traffic. The project will include utility relocations and a culvert replacement.
Beginning September 30, one lane of State Road 267 will be closed, with traffic regulated by temporary signals. This setup will remain until October 15, when the road will undergo a full closure for two weeks to replace a culvert. The expected completion date for the entire project is mid-November, pending weather conditions.
During the full closure, traffic will be detoured via I-74, State Road 39, and I-65. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and use caution when traveling through the area. Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses (Brownsburg.org)(WBIW).
